The Manager is a gifted writer who will provide communications support for the president. The ideal candidate must be able to think strategically and should possess a strong understanding of higher education, Yeshiva University's culture, and the Jewish community. The Manager will maintain the president's correspondence, manage the president's web presence, and craft select speeches, presentations, statements, ceremonial scripts and digital communications.
Manage president's social media accounts and assist in building, designing, and maintaining his digital presence, working closely with the Office of the President and the Director of Advertising and Interactive Media
Help with various communications for the president,working closely with the Office of the President and the Director of Marketing and Communications
Provide coverage of presidential events and speaking engagements
Work closely with CPA (Communications & Public Affairs) staff to explore media opportunities and speaking engagements
Provide support to CPA as needed, including media support at special events
Experience and Educational Background
Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field and 3-5 years experience required
Experience in speechwriting is highly preferred
Skills and Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to develop relationships at all levels of an organization
Strong research capabilities
Fluent in social media
Familiarity with the Jewish community
