The University of Pittsburgh's University Center for International Studies is seeking a Director of Strategic Communications to serve in a senior management capacity.
The incumbent is responsible for the following: - The overall effectiveness of marketing and communications within UCIS - Initiatives and programs concerning the globalization of the University - Strategizing, planning, and executing comprehensive communications for campus-wide internationally related events - The effective distribution of targeted information to relevant audiences both on and off-campus
The incumbent will design and implement communication strategies, including but not limited to, e-marketing, print marketing, direct response marketing, social media, public relations, and other communications with internal and external constituents.
To support Pitt's global objectives and goals, the incumbent will be responsible for: - Messaging strategies - Overseeing development of the branding effort - Managing day-to-day implementation and communication - Designing, executing, and measuring strategic internal and external communications programs - Drafting media and communications materials and messages - Participating in issues management - Integrating seamlessly within the University of Pittsburgh Communications team
