The web and information designer provides web and print design for department.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years experience in web design and/or desktop publishing.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Working knowledge of both web and print design; experience with information architecture, UI design, CMS implementation, desktop publishing software, photo editing software.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Working knowledge of PHP/mySQL and Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Create, update, and maintain website pages, to include consideration of ADA and mobile usage, university branding guidelines, copyrights, etc.; create databases to support websites.
Create posters, fliers, brochures, certificates, newsletters, announcements; create technical diagrams/figures and other graphics.
Miscellaneous requirements, as needed to perform related tasks.
Take photos for use in web and print media; edit photos for use.
