Major Duties: General summary: Recruits transfer students with an emphasis on building relationships from inquiry to matriculation and exemplary customer service. - Collects, analyzes and evaluates transfer admissions data and makes recommendations to enhance recruitment, matriculation and retention of transfer students.- Collaborates with the director to plan and implement marketing strategies to recruit transfer students in an assigned territory.- Develops informational presentations and programs targeted to transfer students.- Oversees the transfer admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. Implements admissions policies and procedures.- Reviews and evaluates applicants and makes admissions decisions for transfer students. Communicates with students, families, the community and University staff about admissions decisions.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field from an accredited institution. - One year's relevant experience. - Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state. - Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.- Valid driver's license.
