Director of Communications for College of Arts & Sciences

The Director of Communications will serve as the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) lead communication professional working to advance the College's national and international reputation while designing, implementing and evaluating the College's annual communication plan and all communication activities of the College.
The Director guides strategy and execution of all College communications including print, web, and social media. Plans and leads the College's public and media relations strategy—highlighting the contributions and accomplishments of faculty, students, alumni and staff—to consistently advance exposure of College's brand especially in the national and international media.
Supports and works closely with multiple, diverse constituencies including faculty, academic departments and institutes, enrollment management, development, alumni relations. Supervises a staff of five, including two communications managers, two web specialists and a media specialist.
