Plan and implement all phases of a competitive national level NCAA Division I men's and women’s track and field program, including student-athlete recruitment, scheduling, conducting practice sessions, conditioning programs, public relations activities and scouting/game preparation. Administer a sound and productive recruiting program within the university policies. Provide assistance as necessary with the departmental fundraising and public relations programs. Perform other duties outside of those related to track and field as assigned by the director and/or sport administrator.
Bachelor’s Degree required. Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with NCAA, conference, and University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Three years of collegiate coaching experience. Proven experience in collegiate recruiting. Experience in meet management and program operations. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable with the University’s Office of Risk Management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Five years collegiate coaching experience.
