The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta is looking for candidates for a full-time (40 hours/week) entry-level position in the CDC’s Division of Public Affairs. This position is a news media relations-related paid internship opening.
The position involves a wide-range of entry-level media relations activities, including answering the CDC media relations phone line; triaging and directing inquiries from the media; working with CDC press officers on press releases and other media-related materials; maintaining and updating materials and information on the CDC's media relations website; and maintaining and updating media relations lists and resources.
