Position Description As part of the Global Marketing & Corporate Affairs (GMCA) team, the Event Marketing team works to deliver impactful events, which engage clients and help our businesses deliver the firm. These events range from large investor and industry conferences to smaller, more targeted events that connect our clients through hospitality events as well as deliver meaningful business content and thought leadership.
The Vice President, South East Asia Events and Global Transaction Services Event Lead serves as an advisor and event management expert, proposing value-add events to the lines of business and executing them locally.
The role reports to Asia Pacific Head of Event Marketing regionally .
Responsible for the delivery of client events for South East Asia (SEA) and regional oversight of the Global Transaction Services event strategy and delivery
Managing a small team of planners planning events in SEA and regional events when required, in accordance with the regional and global event strategy
Required to mitigate risk, as an enterprise control function and to meet all Key Control points of the event planning process. Ensures events are planned within company guidelines and manages the risks associated with events to protect the brand. Proactively engaging with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Corporate Security, Corporate Communications and other key partners as needed and outlined in the event planning process
Will act as an advisor and event management expert, proposing value-add event activity and direction around marketing initiatives and priorities. This includes working with the lines of business on the strategic objective and building strong working relationships with business heads and internal stakeholders
Required to work on events from conception to reconciliation; including pre-event compliance and approvals, budget management, risk management, onsite execution, staff management, stakeholder liaison, final cost analysis and metrics reporting
Work closely with regional marketing relationship managers to maximize opportunities and fully leverage the global marketing platform
