Summary of Essential Job Duties: The Health System Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations, finances, and strategic direction of the following radiation oncology affiliate programs within the Department of Radiation Oncology: Radiation Oncology Beverly Hills and Radiation Oncology Tarzana and other programs as they are acquired. Manage approximately 20 direct reports; actively monitor productivity, retention and growth. Regularly meet and interact with approximately 10 physician and leadership to assess status and direction. Must have the ability to contribute to web page design, marketing and public relations. Responsible for the coordination and communication of marketing for the Department of Radiation Oncology Affiliate sites including community education and enhancement activities, promotion of Radiation Oncology faculty and resources, project management, and grant seeking to help support the mission of the department. Promote Radiation Oncology programs by enhancing consumer and provider relations including maintenance of the webpage, services, and physician referral service. Update all patient education literature, plan promotional events in support of faculty physicians. Oversee and manage outreach staff and ensure sustained referrals and new business from surrounding communities. Manage projects/accounts (operational/academic budgets, grants and general research funds) Fiscal management skills including preparing, monitoring, and controlling budgets, reducing expenses and generating increased revenues. Manage RFP submission process for managed care contracts. develop and assess performance and quality improvement goals. Contribute to the development, implementation, and revision of business plans and annual program reviews for Radiation Oncology. Execute plans developed for the Radiation Oncology through the strategic plan. Proven ability to lead and manage people. Fiscal management skills to prepare, monitor and control budgets, reduce expenses and generate increased revenues. Ability to lead effective collaborations and teamwork among individuals. #LI-AS1
Qualification Requirements/Preferences: Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree required, Master's Degree required Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior management experience in relevant areas inclusive of budget planning and resource management preferred. Proven ability to lead and manage people. Experience with regulatory survey processes, project management, employee relations, fiscal management and performance improvement. Committed to excellence in customer service and able to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues. Outstanding communication and prioritization skills, professionalism, and adaptability. Experience with managed care contracts and LOA's.
