St. Paul’s Foundation is currently seeking a Development Assistant to join its Development Team.
Reporting to the Director of Campaign, Corporate, the Development Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Corporate and Annual Giving Team.
Ambassador for the Foundation by promoting good public relations and providing accurate information about the Foundation to callers and visitors,
Provide support to the Director, Campaign Corporate, Annual Giving Manager and Corporate & Sponsorship Manager in their fundraising initiatives by assisting in the preparation of confidential correspondence, formatting donor proposals, creating collateral materials, department planning documents, taking minutes and correspondence for meetings,
Preparing for donor meetings by booking meeting rooms, ordering catering, and/or preparing any relevant documents,
Receiving donations and preparing them for Donations Processing,
Managing calendars and scheduling meetings for the Director, Campaign, Corporate,
Documenting activity in Raiser’s Edge ensuring data is entered according to policy & procedure manual and proposal tab is being used appropriately,
Works with Manager, Corporate & Sponsorship to coordinate donations and sponsorships materials and activation as required,
Provide administrative, logistical and relationship management support to donor events as needed,
Processes Corporate budget expenses and quarterly reconciles fiscal Corporate budget,
Working with Database team and other cross functional teams to pull lists as required Provide support to volunteer committees and senior community leaders through the coordination of committee meetings; prepare meeting materials, set up for meetings, take meeting minutes,
Ensure that all information related to donor accounts is accurate and up to date in Raiser’s Edge; this includes regular data entry of information to Raiser’s Edge,
Other duties as assigned.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel),
Experience as an administrative officer, preferable with a fund-raising organization or organization of similar scope or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience,
Demonstrated ability to contribute to and participate in a positive work environment with professionalism and a service-oriented attitude,
Demonstrated professionalism, tact, good judgment and diplomacy in all interactions with the Foundation team and the wider community,
A high degree of initiative, attention to detail, and mindfulness as it relates to complex projects and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills, and problem solving skills,
