OSGS specializes in helping State agencies improve how they determine eligibility and deliver health and human services programs. OSGS offers technical and business solutions to help Health and Human Services agencies achieve their integrated eligibility, case management, and service delivery objectives. In this dynamic technology leadership role, you will provide leadership, guidance and accountability for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff. As an Implementation Director, you will manage leading edge technologies and elite teams to drive and manage high-quality execution and operational excellence, delivering technology solutions, meeting business needs, and maximizing customer experience, growth and retention. Your strategic vision, tactical excellence and consultative skills will enable others to resolve business problems that affect multiple functions or disciplines, and ultimately, the lives of millions. Primary Responsibilities: Implement large-scale technology projects through industry standard project management methodology, organizing team activities consistent with the approved work plan, and managing resources to the benefit of our state clientsProvide overall management, leadership, guidance, team direction, decision-making, problem resolution and accountability for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff for assigned implementation activitiesPlay an active role in day-to-day management of the account, being knowledgeable and aware of all issues, concerns and client requirementsDevelop and maintain thorough project planning documentation that includes, but is not limited to, Project Management Plan and fully resourced Project scheduleCollaborate with internal leaders and external business partners to gain understanding of their fit to drive high-quality execution across organizational linesLeverage diversity and inclusion to bring in the right talent, drive employee engagement and foster teamwork and collaborationApply financial knowledge to influence forecasting and financial planning activitiesProvide timely and informed responses to client implementation and operational inquiries / escalationsMeet with DHS staff or such other person DHS may designate on a regular basis to provide oral and written status reports and other information as required
Required Qualifications:5+ years experience implementing Medicaid (MMIS) and/or Integrated Eligibility (IE) systems12+ years of professional services, client management, or project management experience10+ years of state government-related project experience 5+ years of professional Director-level IT experience in a large, enterprise environment 5+ years of experience leading teams and/or managing workloads for IT team membersUndergraduate degree or equivalent experienceWilling and able to travel up to 80% as requiredPreferred Qualifications: Knowledge of and ability to leverage IT industry/marketplace technologies and trendsExperience leading distributed teamsHealth care industry experienceGraduate Degree Careers with Optum.
