TheNational Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is seeking an Executive Office Coordinator to support the Senior Vice President for Policy and Government Relations and the Chief Operating Officer.

Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer including, but not limited to, preparing letters, memos, briefs, expense reports, copying, filing, and answering telephones.
Manage the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer’s schedules.
Coordinating with Meetings Management to handle logistics, hospitality, and security for meeting attendees when necessary.
Provide back-up support to the NAM receptionist by covering lunch breaks on a regular basis.

Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook), internet, Web 2.0 channels.
Demonstrated research and data entry skills.
Strong planning and organization skills including proven attention to detail and follow through.
Motivated, reliable, positive attitude.
Flexibility to work before or after hours occasionally when needed to meet deadlines.
Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to handle pressure in a goal and deadline driven environment.
Proficient in social media platforms.
Ability to work in a team environment and perform as a valuable member of the team.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
1-2 years of experience in a campaign, congressional office, association or government environment.
