Manage student philanthropic initiatives through student-led programming, communications, marketing, event planning, and campus partnerships.
Assist with the implementation of innovative young alumni focused events and the creation of a plan for student to young alumni transition. Train students in peer-to-peer fundraising.
Manage and advise two student committees, the Student Alumni Committee (SAC), an events-based student group dedicated to increasing student and alumni engagement and the Senior Class Gift (SCG) committee.
In partnership with events staff, plan and execute 5+ large-scale (300+ guests) events annually and other events as proposed. Write and manage student communications, including letters authored by alumni, student-focused emails, and mail solicitations. Manage student committee budgets and documents.
Develop and maintain key relationships with campus and student life staff to help embed culture of philanthropy into student experience from first day of orientation through graduation. Collaborate with College Programming Office for large scale events. Create and execute new philanthropy education initiatives with campus partners.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of alumni relations programs. Seek opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance, including building networks within the University and with colleagues at peer institutions.
Comfortable working with different populations including students, ARD staff, student affairs staff, deans, and high-level donors required.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher required.
A minimum of two years of professional work experience in nonprofit management, development, alumni relations, marketing, public relations, sales or similar professional work experience required.
Technical Knowledge or Skills:
Strong verbal and writing skills, high attention to detail and follow-up, and excellent organizational skills required.
Experience with Google Drive/Docs/Sheets, Google Analytics, and social media platforms, Adobe Photoshop, web editing, Blackbaud, and Slack preferred.
Demonstrated skill and knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, the internal workings of the University as well as the technology tools available to the Office of Alumni Relations and Development, including Griffin (the University's Donor Relationship Management System), a Microsoft Windows computer environment, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required.
Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends required.
