ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II FOR COMMUNICATIONS, Office of Admissions/Student Financial Services, to join the communications team, which has overall responsibility for communications, marketing, and brand management for the offices of Undergraduate Admissions and Student Financial Services. The team works with internal stakeholders across departments to support the work of both offices and to develop multiple communications strategies. Will perform a range of tasks including the production of HTML email, content management support for multiple websites and social media channels, maintaining editorial calendars, and the collection and preparation of digital assets. Will also be responsible for a variety of general administrative tasks and occasional customer service in support of the Admissions Office. Will report to the associate director of communications.

Job Requirements REQUIRED: at least three years of related experience preferably in higher education or an agency environment; demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe CS, WordPress, and social media platforms and ability to learn other software as needed; strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; strong customer service orientation; and ability to respond to requests in a timely manner. Seek a self-directed learner who pays strict attention to detail, thrives on multitasking, and is able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Photography and/or video experience a plus; as is proficiency with HTML, cross-platform browser testing, and web standards. A B.A./B.S. in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
