Totino-Grace High School seeks an experienced professional to provide leadership and direction for annual solicitation efforts, managing a portfolio of donors and prospects and all aspects of the annual fund campaign.
The candidate will create and execute strategies for engaging and cultivating donors through print and electronic communication, phone solicitations, in-person solicitations and special events. Must be capable of assessing donor interests and capabilities and escalating opportunities as appropriate to the level of donor engagement. Primary responsibility is to increase donor based annual giving. The Annual Fund Director will also perform other duties as required or assigned.
Develop and execute annual fund development plan and timeline.
Cultivate and solicit individual donors for annual fund, engaging Advancement team members and President as needed.
Develop and implement a donor and prospect cultivation plan to increase the number of donors and average gifts to the TG Fund and Lasallian Scholarship.
Develop effective communication materials for donors, alumni and current parents, including acknowledgement letters.
Develop and manage annual mail solicitation campaigns.
Provide regular revenue and contact statistics to management.
Responsible for accurate “contact detail” input. (Raiser’s Edge)
Act as a spokesperson for the organization to bring in funding, volunteers, etc.
Host in-person donor visits and school tours as needed.
Participate in evening and weekend events as needed.
Strong organizational and administration skills, detail and “big picture “oriented.
Positive verbal and written communication skills.
Effective telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
Professional demeanor, flexible and able to respond to multiple demands.
Skilled in preparing written reports and giving presentations.
Solid word processing and spreadsheet experience.
Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.

Education / Experience (Minimum Required):
A Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, business or equivalent
Three to five years of demonstrated success in fundraising, sales and/or special events
Knowledge of fund development principles and public relations
Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or other contact management system preferred
Knowledge of and commitment to Catholic teachings
Strong leadership and management aptitude
