Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator I for the Center on Violence Against Women and Children at the School of Social Work. Reporting to the community engagement coordinator, the incumbent in this position manages all day-to-day administration of online and facilitated trainings, all ongoing technical needs, as well as contributing to the growth of the training work being done both in person and online.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Provides support to all aspects of the Community Engagement Branch and the branch's strategic plan.
Oversees coordination of data collection of all training conducted by the center.
Coordinates training, managing outreach and all communications with DCF and our contracted trainers as well as other partners relating to additional training collaborations.
Ensures payment of trainers who lead in-person training courses.
Develops and adjusts in-person and online training materials.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in social work, communications, public relations, marketing, business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Two years’ experience that demonstrates knowledge & understanding of training programs and illustrates an understanding of the Violence Against Women field
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and think creatively
Good communication skills
Master's degree in one of the fields above
Experience with Canvas, Canva and Prezi or other web-based presentation and training management programs.
Experience translating materials into training modules
Experience implementing, overseeing, and delivering successful trainings
Experience administering and creating an online training platform
The position requires the regular use of a Windows or Apple computer and expertise with the following software: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
Must successfully complete Rutgers University Human Subjects Certification Program within two weeks of employment.
