Serve as a member of the Client Relations team, the primary sales and public relations contacts for the Travel/Study department. Develop and maintain relationships with potential and current alumni travelers and friend. Administer pre-departure outreach. Work directly with Stanford faculty and tour operators.
35% Develop and maintain relationships with approximately 900 potential and current alumni travelers and friends for nearly 30 Travel/Study programs each year.
30% Solve complex traveler issues; oversee $8M in trip fees annually; administer multiple pre-departure outreach and communications spanning the twelve months prior to each of the Travel/Study program departures.
20% Tour Manage one to three programs each year (each program is typically two to three weeks in length), oversee expenses, engage participants, coordinate the program's educational component directly with Stanford faculty, work closely with tour operators, ship's crews, hotel personnel, etc. Execute daily schedule, making revisions as called for. Ensure passenger safety and security.
10% utilize multiple internal and external resources to build detailed knowledge about Travel/Study programs. Coordinate delegation of administrative tasks to temporary/casual support staff.
