Bring along your passion and do your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, Optum International you will develop and execute on the vision, strategy, long-term and short-term roadmaps for the Optum UK business Develop and maintain deep relationships with the technology and other product leaders and teams across the company Understand deeply how the Optum UK solutions are used by customers for solving different business problems, and create and build roadmaps to reflect objectives of greater customer satisfaction and long-term scalability Integrate Growth, Technology, Clinical, Customer Operations, Finance and other groups across the company to build product capability Use Agile methodology to continuously improve every aspect of our product development process within the wider business context Ensuring the quality and Agile delivery of written requirements, stories and product definitions and prioritize initiatives Define metrics for success, including product performance, NPS and work with senior leadership to determine accountability for meeting strategic goals Accountable for KPIs to ensure the product teams are consistently improving the performance of our platform to meet all of the above goals Demonstrate understanding of the competitive landscape (e.g., strengths, weaknesses, gaps, product portfolios, win/loss analysis) Define the core competencies/capabilities that distinguish Optum UK in the marketplace (e.g., key differentiators) Document/communicate market problems and characteristics and needs to applicable stakeholders Provide/utilize input on legal/regulatory changes that would support our business/product strategies Perform applicable financial analyses to drive product planning efforts (e.g., cost/benefit analysis, revenue potential/forecasts, budgets, volume forecasts) Establish status dashboards to drive program/product management processes/reviews (e.g., key metrics, schedules, checkpoints) Adhere to or champion use of applicable product development guidelines/procedures (e.g., Product Development Methodology, Product Development and Release, Product Lifecycle Management) Provide consulting on proposed product customizations, based on specific customer or market requirements and evolving business needs Demonstrates expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies.- Leads the development of new concepts, technologies and products to meet emerging customer requirements Identifies and solves problems that impact the management and direction of the business Develops plans that impact the long-term success of the business.- Influences senior management decisions that impact business direction Have segment-wide and/or enterprise-wide impact with responsibility of managing cross-functional and/or industry-wide teams
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations Significant exposure in Marketing and Project Management experience within a matrix organization Substantial experience managing products within the Health Care industry Experience running a dynamic product prioritization process and knowledge of best practice release processes Demonstrable evidence of building high-performance and customer-centric product capabilities Proven experience in creating a strong product culture within an organization Proven experience in running cross-discipline, agile teams as a product owner and has a portfolio of achievements in this area Evidence of your exposure working in a high growth organization / experience developing, detailing and communicating product requirements, building implementation plans, and leading teams to deliver Hands-on experience in direct people management, with the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate individuals and groups of people Technology-literate and comfortable debating the product and technology roadmap at C-Level Strong financial analyses experience such as completing cost / benefit analysis, revenue potential/forecasts, budgets and volume forecasts Careers with Optum.
