The Senior Account Executive works collaboratively with the Director of Sales & Marketing to plan, develop, and manage all event activities; Manages & oversees the distribution and work of Account Executives; trains, monitors, and evaluates new Account Executives; ensures that the event activities are in accordance to the client’s specifications and Center’s policies and procedures; resolves problems; and performs other duties as assigned.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE WORK:
The work of this individual involves evening, weekend, and holiday hours. The employee works on a 24 hour on-call basis.
TYPICAL EXAMPLES OF THE WORK:
•Directs account executives to insure the client’s needs are met while maintaining the policies and procedures of the facility.
•Oversees the distribution of new accounts and monitors the account executives case loads and interdepartmental relationships overall.
•Trains new account executives and provides continuous education to existing staff.
•Reviews billing information before it is submitted to accounting.
•Monitors contractual responsibilities of all parties.
•Chairs production meetings and is responsible for overall communication of customer needs.
•Conducts site inspections and develops written proposals for prospective clients.
•Manages and directs staff during events and resolves event related challenges.
•Manages overall flow of operations during events.
•Prepares event documents and staff instructions for the building staff.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
