Florida Hospital seeks to hire an Internal Communications and Media Manager who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

Full Time: Monday-Thursday 8am- 5pm, Friday 8am-3pm
The Internal Communications & Media Manager is responsible for sustaining employee education, retention, engagement, and satisfaction. Develops and coordinates strategic internal communication initiatives with the goal of enhancing understanding of key messages and outcomes, including patient safety mandates. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field
Marketing, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or Employee Communication/Relations experience, OR equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
Strong writing experience for a variety of audiences li>
Ability to accomplish goals while adhering to strict and frequent deadlines, without supervision
Ability to work with diverse employee groups
Proficiency with publishing and editing software
Working knowledge of promotions and target marketing, including audience research
Innovative thinking, dedication, and motivation; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

Consults and offers guidance to hospital administration, executives, and marketing representatives in developing potential and strategic communication messages. Works closely with Florida Hospital (FH) executives in crafting and disseminating messages in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure employee understanding and engagement. Collaborates with hospital leaders, department directors and managers, front-line employees, and other staff to ensure that these efforts are done in an organized, effective, and timely manner.
Serves as producer of video newscast and all employee communication platforms. Writes copy for all internal communication outlets.
Works closely with projects concerning patient safety and patient experience. Fully develops and deploys administrative, strategic, or patient safety messages in a way that translates and connects with Florida Hospital employees and physicians.
Effectively frames employee culture in a way that translates into recommended administrative actions to sustain a high performing organization.
Plans and implements the regular production of key communication vehicles outlined in the communication plan for the year. Evaluates, implements, and monitors the process for message identification and development, for targeting key audiences, and for the appropriate delivery.
Conducts ongoing communication audits and feedback to evaluate methods of communication, receptivity and recall of key messages and takes appropriate action based on audit results. Develops and facilitates an internal communication board to identify deficiencies and explore new opportunities on an on-going basis. Identifies new communication opportunities and develops appropriate messages and outlets.
Assists in the development of communication tools, such as, talking points, FH letters or memos, internal presentations, and other Hospital-specific communication projects.
Responsible for all aspects of culture driven social media ensuring a transcendent message is delivered to both employees and physicians (includes strategic ownership of employee, physician and NCSA functions and events on campus).
