We have an opening for a Full-Time Public Relations Manager to work at our Corporate headquarters in Brentwood, TN!
The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for driving external communications efforts by identifying, developing and managing company-wide initiatives in line with overall business objectives. By utilizing current and emerging technologies, the Public Relations Manager will execute content strategies across multiple channels including media, press, editorial and thought leadership. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring that public relations goals and strategies are met, and help to maintain a favorable public image for the organization. Work closely with the Vice President to plan, develop and execute external communication plans designed to promote the Premise Health brand in the marketplace increasing awareness and engagement.
Develop and deliver programs to promote and help maintain the favorable public image of the organization with press, analysts, customers, prospects and the wider community, effectively communicating strategies, accomplishments and/or industry points of view.
Develop and maintain media relationships (locally, regionally and nationally); facilitate positive media interaction, proactively develop pitches and cultivate relationships with media.
Drive consistent dialogue with media and analysts, including pitching and interview support. Cultivate and build new relationships with trade and business press where necessary to expand exposure in key verticals.
Develop and execute thought leadership campaign; develop speaker's bureau, identifying executive speaking opportunities, positioning Premise Health as the industry leader.
Maintain strong relationships with trade publication editors, industry analysts and conference coordinators to create opportunities for brand exposure in trade outlets and at events, including contributed article, interview and speakership opportunities.
Draft and distribute press releases; media follow up calls to garner coverage. Develop talking points and interview preparation.
Prepare media pitches and draft articles for editorial contributions; use content development best practices to aggregate and write special presentations, speeches, talking points and other communications pieces for the CEO and other thought leaders as necessary (e.g. use of language and tone of brand voice to craft messages and tell stories, interpreting messages for specific audience groups, etc.)
Oversee the submission, updating and retention of records of various corporate recognition and awards (i.e. top employer, executive profiles, corporate profiles, etc.)
Ensures that all digital and traditional communications outlets and tools are effectively utilized to continually improve the organization's image and visibility and meet standards of quality, accuracy, timeliness and cost-effectiveness.
Acts as public relations expert, providing guidance to teams across the company through editorial review, strategy and implementation (e.g. Executive leadership, HR, etc.)

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, media studies, marketing, business and/or related field is required (background in healthcare setting preferred).
At least 5 years of related work experience in public relations, journalism or communications.
Recent public relations agency experience preferred; strong media relationships.
Successful track record implementing and overseeing external communications programs.
