The University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Nursing is accepting applications for the Coordinator of Community Relations position. This position will report the Director of Public Relations and External Affairs. The Coordinator of Community Relations leads the College of Nursing affairs with external constituents including events and stewardship/development activities. This dynamic professional will utilize broad and comprehensive experience, skills and knowledge to manage and successfully execute diversified activities, events, and projects with limited supervision. The Coordinator of Community Relations interfaces with faculty members, students, and administrators as well as a wide range of important external constituents and clients, so the ability to build strong relationships and a positive and professional demeanor is crucial. This position is responsible for managing the intentional and broad-based stewardship programs of the college. In addition, this position is responsible for implementing college programs to increase fundraising success, grow the donor base, improve the accuracy of the database, create a culture that appreciates philanthropy, and educate alumni on the university's impact and importance.
