As the Digital Media Content Manager you are responsible for managing the team that creates, distributes, measures and curates branded digital content via owned, shared and paid channels. These channels range from the award winning sc.edu website, to our top-5 ranked higher-ed social media accounts to state, regional and national digital campaigns. You will lead your team in identifying unique story ideas, finding or capturing digital assets and creating excellent digital experiences that engage our audience and spur action. The Digital Media Content Manager is a key member of the Office of Communications & Public Affairs team and is responsible for setting a high standard for quality content that will be viewed, shared and remembered. You will consult with others, collaborating to bring your digital expertise to bear on communications challenges they face. You must have a passion for engaging storytelling and talent for identifying and developing digital storytellers as we continue to build a large team of digital media content specialists under your direction. You must have a creative curiosity and the desire to maximize every opportunity to enhance our national brand reputation, leading those who engage with us to like us, those who like us to love us and those who love us to share the love.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree and 2 years professional experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material and a portfolio of razor-sharp digital content, or Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience and a portfolio of razor-sharp digital content.
