The Division of Strategic Enrollment Management, Admissions and Enrollment Department at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science invites applications for a full-time Associate Director of Admissions & Enrollment position. The Associate Director is a key member of the admissions and enrollment staff reporting to the Director of Admission and Enrollment. The Associate Director of Admissions and Enrollment will have primary responsibility for admissions pipeline process and activities including driving inquiries to application for all RFU programs. The Associate Director will serve as a primary liaison to an assigned academic college/program within RFU to develop nurturing relationships with academic partners to better understand their programs and enrollment aspirations including membership on appropriate committees. Work collaboratively as a key member of the Office of Admissions and Enrollment to enhance, develop and carry out processes necessary to achieve enrollment success including recruitment at both on and off campus events, application review and evaluation and other integrative work to attract, recruit, and analyze our efforts to guide the enrollment strategy. This position will facilitate and manage one of the three administrative service areas within the Office of Admissions and Enrollment that includes: Application Services and Operations, Marketing and Communications, or Recruitment and Outreach. Application Services and Operations Administrative Area has primary responsibility that includes: 1) All data management functions as related to maintaining and updating process structures to meet departmental needs for graduate and professional school admissions. 2) CRM Administrator and all other functions related to managing automated communication plans as well as training to all participating departments and staff. 3) Responsible for quarterly updating and maintenance of application and school pages in various national Centralized Admissions Systems (CAS) including routine data cleanup processes. Marketing and Communications Service Area has primary responsibility that include: 1) Executing the marketing and communication plans, review of analytics to enhance the university’s image among prospective students for the Office of Admissions & Enrollment including tactics and timing across all university programs for both process and promotional communications that promotes RFU’s colleges and programs as well as the recruitment, admission and enrollment of new students to the University. 2) Review and and facilitate updates for all print communications annually (including but not limited to: postcards, one-page program sheets, and viewbooks) Digital communications as needed (including transactional and communications at each stage of the enrollment process as well as drip marketing campaigns) in consultation with the Division of Marketing and Brand Management. 3) Provide content direction and effective coordination of communication projects in collaboration with our Marketing and Brand Management division as well as other stakeholders. Recruitment and Outreach Service Area has primary responsibility that include: 1)Develop recruitment plans in collaboration with Deans and other appropriate program representatives to to achieve annual enrollment goals for all student populations. 2) Develop relationships with a variety of partners such as colleges, community colleges, national and regional associations, pre-professional advisors, faculty partners and local early pathway interventions among other groups in order to create pipelines for students who will be successful at RFUMS. 3) Manage all On and Off campus Recruitment Events including but not limited to coordination, staffing, logistics and volunteer program. The Associate Director for Admissions and Enrollment will supervise at least two professional staff members responsible for counselor related work within the Office of Admissions and Enrollment. This position will have the strategic, managerial and entrepreneurial background necessary to provide exemplary leadership in an environment that is fast-paced with high expectations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
-Supervises two or more professional admissions staff members focused on similar responsibilities. -The Associate Director will have responsibility to collaborate with faculty program directors to execute systematic and actionable work within the Office of Admissions and Enrollment. -Demonstrate strong proficiency in all systems and tools used by the department including but not limited to application systems, CRM, Website platform, as well as Survey tools. -Develop strong and effective relationships with academic units, and assist them in creating a cohesive application process flows, recruitment plans and communications plan for their programs. -Collaborate with the Director of Admissions & Enrollment and colleagues within Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM), Division of Marketing and Brand Management, ITS, Division of Student Affairs and Inclusion team, and academic units to achieve enrollment success. -Supervise admissions staff, including hiring, training, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure consistency. -Manage external relationships on behalf of the Office of Admissions and Enrollment including but not limited Pre-Health Advisors, vendors and consultants to ensure consistency. -Analyze and report effectiveness of assigned Administrative Service Area as a part of a periodic program review process. -Conduct annual review of all efforts based on Administrative Service Area assignment at each stage of the enrollment funnel from prospect to enrollment. -Participates in relevant committees, councils or necessary discussions when needed to assist in the development and execution of all enrollment initiatives. -Serve as a Senior Leadership staff member in the Office of Admissions and Enrollment and supports the Director of Admissions & Enrollment as needed. -Assumes other duties and responsibilities associated with admissions counseling and recruitment which includes being the primary contact with respective programs and colleges, and a recruitment territory. -Other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
-Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred. -At least five years experience in enrollment management preferred or commensurate experience in one of the service areas. Master’s degree. -2 to 3 years experience in supervisory role with proven ability to lead and mentor a team of admissions professionals. -Experience working in higher education, with at least two years and in admissions/enrollment. -Knowledge and proficiency of Colleague/Datatel. -Experience with CRM. -Master’s degree or equivalent experience. -Three to five years experience in marketing, communications and public relations.
