The University of Tennessee System Office of Government Relations and Advocacy invites applicants for the position of Director of Policy Analysis. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, the position works closely with the Vice President and other members of the President's executive team. The position closely monitors emerging higher education policy and political issues of interest to the university, provides consultation and subject matter expertise in higher education policy for a range of issues affecting the university, and assists with disseminating information to stakeholders. The position also provides government relations support as needed. The position is full-time but being initially offered as a limited duration appointment with full benefits and the possibility of extension. At that time, the successful applicant will be eligible to compete for the permanent position.
Office of Government Relations and Advocacy serves as the voice of the entire University of Tennessee System before state and federal governments, with staff and offices located in Nashville, TN and Washington, DC. This position is located in the Nashville office.
