Job Specific Information:
This position will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the FedEx Reputation Intelligence Center. The communications advisor will serve as a Global Reputation Strategist with responsibility for monitoring and measuring the FedEx global reputation and influencing strategic initiatives to help protect and enhance the reputation.
The Communications Advisor will:
Grow the influence of the FedEx Reputation Intelligence Center throughout the enterprise
Manage the continuous monitoring, measurement and analysis of the FedEx reputation
Translate research data into relevant insights for key internal audiences
Work with leadership to outline reputation goals and lead the development of reputation plans
Be a thought leader on reputation management, proactively and regularly providing updates and counsel to peers and key decision makers within the company
Work collaboratively across operating companies and regions in support of reputation goals
Develop and manage relationships with external agencies, professional organizations, influencers
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in communications, journalism, marketing or related field required. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Five (5) years of directly related experience required. Demonstrated experience in institutional or corporate communications with an emphasis on communication planning/analysis and exposure to print and non-print media strategies. Ability to study complex data and broad business strategy and convert into practical, creative and effective communications strategies. Proficient analytical, problem-solving, organization, creativity, grammar and writing skills. Strong, demonstrated human relations/relationship management skills.
Analysis: Manage large amounts of information and draw inferences from data. Make data-driven recommendations and easily adopt new communication solutions, best practices, measurement tools and quality control processes as standard business practice.
Business Communications: Consistently uses strong knowledge of business strategy to create communications solutions that directly impact business performance. Develop both written and verbal executive-level communications for internal and external audiences. Develops/Integrates comprehensive, overarching communications strategies, as well as targeted communications strategies to support the FedEx reputation.
Project Management: Lead cross-functional team members in the coordination and execution of multiple programs; includes the ability to actively manage day-to-day responsibilities, make decisions and recommendations to management; track, evaluate and communicate progress to key stakeholders. Demonstrate strong understanding of business partner needs across operating companies, and understands FedEx structure and informal structures and utilizes network to achieve goals.
