Growing enthusiast publisher, CarTech, Inc (http://www.cartechbooks.com) is looking for an energetic and driven sales associate with a love of cars and a deep knowledge of (and interest in) today’s digital landscape.
This position is responsible for reaching all key influencers in the online automotive marketplace to develop marketing partnerships and ultimately sales.
Research and develop relationships with websites, forums, blogs, and Facebook Pages or Groups related to our subject matter. Post relevant information on sites
Find, solicit and build relationships with various car clubs and organizations to promote our new titles
Develop strong relationships with traditional media (magazines) and their online counterparts to create multiple cross-promotional opportunities. Follow-up contact to enhance likelihood of reviews and/or posting of content
Work with/encourage authors to take advantage of various online marketing opportunities as well as potential signings. Work with show vendors to make books available for authors’ signings for those authors who attend these shows
Assist Digital Marketing Manager with key word research. Identify the best key words for a book or subject to use on our websites for maximum search engine exposure
Assist Digital Marketing Manager with consumer emails, social media postings, as needed.
Maintain existing in-house retail, wholesale and specialty accounts
Research, contact and establish specialty accounts related to subject matter

Automotive enthusiast. Must be actively involved in and interested in motorsports or other automotive hobbies/pursuits
Must be knowledgeable and/or actively contributing to automotive forums and Facebook groups
A deep knowledge of and interest in the digital landscape
Strong written and verbal communications skills; previous copywriting experience a plus!
Must be able to show you’re driven and a go-getter
Previous sales experience in the automotive industry a plus
Required Education BA/BS in Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field preferred but not required.
