Currently, we are seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst to join the Corporate Division in Newport Beach, CA. The Corporate Division supports the goals and initiatives of all other divisions throughout the company and its subsidiaries. These departments include: Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Corporate Development, Public Affairs, Safety & Security, Legal & Compliance.
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) provides day-to-day support of ERP/PeopleSoft and treasury systems. In this role, SBSA works directly with business users and translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications for PeopleSoft and treasury systems. This person should become proficient in the business's processes and the systems that are used. They will play a significant role in the definition of specifications for new systems functionality. This job requires someone with a background in PeopleSoft Treasury and AP modules, Banking and Cash Management. Analytical and business analysis skills are required to consult with our treasury and divisional teams with ERP workflow.
The Business Systems Analyst responsibilities include:
*Support of PeopleSoft and treasury systems for the Corporate Treasury department *Represents Treasury Systems Support in business meetings; working with technical stakeholders and business end-users to facilitate the development process *Maintains appropriate levels of segregation of duties within/across functional areas within Corporate Treasury Banking and/or business lines *Resolves complex issues and implements projects at a technical level *Serves as subject matter expert across Corporate Treasury & Banking functional areas, on operational practices of functional area/team and on related business partner operational practices *Performs detailed business & systems analysis with technical delivery across multiple platforms and applications, and bank technology products and services in a wide range of functional areas *Develops knowledge of current banking/treasury management/business line products, services, technology, regulations; recommend to management and assist in incorporating them into functional area/team and/or business line operational areas *Participates in the collection, input, reconciliation, reporting of data in various operational systems, usually focused on more complex transaction types *Works on ad hoc projects, tasks, and assignments as assigned by management
FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
*Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in an analytical field or equivalent, Banking or Treasury experience is preferred but not required *2 - 4 years of experience with PeopleSoft to include Treasury, Cash Management, AP, and GL modules *2 - 4 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role *Strong knowledge of data processing and enterprise software applications *Confident self-starter with the desire to work independently and meet deadlines *Strong computer skills with business applications, such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, reporting & presentation software and/or data management
