Enterprise Clinical Performance provides support to all markets served by OptumCare. The National Advanced Clinician Program Manager will be responsible for focused oversight of the National Advanced Clinician Program and associated resources. They will oversee, support, coordinate, and manage operations resources for the prioritization of Medicare Advantage patients for an Annual Wellness Visit with a Nurse Practitioner. The Manager will work collaboratively with all OptumCare organizations in which Advanced Clinician Program support is deployed. This position will report to Director of the Advanced Clinician Program of OptumCare and will be responsible for driving effective execution and continuous process improvements for the Advanced Clinician Program and / or associated vendors. Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for deployment of National Advanced Clinician Program which includes deployment of NP Initiative, Scheduling NP within Clinics, ROI Assessments, Opportunity Assessment, Attestation Process flow, Billing and Claim Submission and Attestation submission process across 8 Care Delivery OrganizationsProvide support and oversight to business analyst and scheduler resourcesAssist with deployment and creation of Playbook for Advanced Clinician Program and Accountable Care Organization Responsible of managing initiatives that require overseeing onsite resources, scheduling and reporting process. This will include Member Engagement strategies such as New Member campaigns for Annual Wellness Visits or Special Screening ProgramsProvide subject matter expertise in areas including Advanced Clinician Program, New Member Engagement and Accountable Care Organization work streamsAbility to communicate information related to the Risk Adjustment initiatives within different markets up to and including leadership level Execute collaborative solutions with both internal and external clients that lead to more effective communication and a higher level of productivity and accuracy for Advanced Clinician visitsIdentifies opportunities to improve patient relations and increase efficiencies of the scheduling processesAbility to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications This position requires high - level problem solving and excellent communication skills and the highest ethical standardsFollows up on client requests and concerns and offers contributions and suggestions to improve current methods. Required Qualifications:5+ years of solid Workforce Management experience and successful program level delivery 5+ years combined experience within managed care / health insurance industry experience in government relations, network management, and / or legal / compliance3+ years managing a virtual team of 5 or more individuals Previous experience in successfully delivering on Operational projects in a matrix environment Good understanding of how Scope, Resource, Budget, Quality and Time impacts a project and be able to proactively manage them along with identifying Risks and putting in mitigation steps Ability to work independently and in a team environment to deliver on Clinical Risk and Quality initiatives Ability to influence and work with internal and external stakeholders / resources to move projects and programs forward and overcome any challenges Ability to work through any stakeholder challenges and see past the individuals goals to get the team to work towards the program / project overall goalsServe as the escalation point for the Advanced Clinician Program teamDemonstrated track record of exercising good judgmentComfortable with report outs and presentation to management Excellent communication skills both written and verbalStrong organization and comprehension capabilities with a keen eye on detailsIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Able to work virtual / remote with an office space 50% travel Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with government pay for performance programs a plusPrior health industry and workforce management experience a plusExperience in risk adjustmentExperience in Quality with a working knowledge of HEDISProven experience managing organizational growth and changeWell - honed communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders Careers with Optum.
