Advertised Summary Job Description: The Project Manager (PM) will work in close partnership with the Director and the Executive Director of the Center for Interventional Vascular Therapy. Projects will include (but not limited to) the oversite and strategy of the shared practice calendar, oversight of the social media and web strategy, and distribution of internal communications for the team. The PM's responsibilities will vary from day to day as projects are assigned so this position requires someone who is adaptable and can work in a fast-paced environment. The PM will oversee the administrative calendar, reconciling conflicts and monitoring travel. S/he will develop the on call schedule for the cath lab, infield, outfield and weekend coverage in partnership with the physician leadership. The selected candidate will work closely with the team to develop patient education tools and marketing collateral. S/he will monitor and track faculty academic and research achievements. In addition, s/he will assist in updating faculty CVs and support the faculty promotion process. The PM will be responsible for the distribution of departmental communication including Cath Conference, QI, weekly fellow meeting announcements and departmental announcements. The selected candidate will be responsible for updating the Department website, defining and implementing a social media strategy in partnership with the ED, and for tracking all marketing initiatives and their return on investment. S/he will follow and document practice trends, process invoices, expenses and time sheets and monitor contracts and tracks when renewals are required. The PM will provide backup administrative and scheduling support for the Director of CIVT, plan special events such as the cath lab holiday party, fellows dinner, etc. S/he will maintain the shared drive and establish saving protocols. The selected candidate will be expected to perform other related duties assigned or requested by management.
General Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus three years of related experience.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: Practical knowledge of applications including MS Office software (Microsoft word, excel and Outlook). Must be able to interact with all levels of staff and must have an understanding of patient's confidentiality. Some Knowledge of Medical Terminology. Must have excellent customer service skills in a high pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus three to five years of related experience preferred.
