Job Description Wholesale Relationship Strategies & Insights (WRS&I), led by Fleur Twohig and part of the Wholesale COO, has been created to support the Wholesale lines of business in building a strategic framework that will enhance Wholesale relationships through the implementation of tailored strategies, governed processes, common infrastructure, and delivery of insightful, actionable and effective business and customer analytics and reporting.
This key role will report to the Transformation Management Office within Wholesale Relationship Strategies & Insights (WRS&I). The individual in this role will work as a dedicated business communications resource within a small team to develop, drive and support the critical communications roadmap for both the implementation of the new WRS&I CoE and the day-to-day communications needs of the leadership team.
In close collaboration with Corporate Communications, the individual selected will establish and execute upon the communication plans and deliverables for the WRS&I LOB engagement model, implementing team and Wholesale-wide business processes, clarifying roles & responsibilities, WRS&I team member communications, maintaining the WRS&I intranet site, and other projects as they arise. The individual will execute on multiple business-focused communication work streams, managing numerous deliverables simultaneously and will need to engage with a broad range of support partners in a matrixed environment. The individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with varied audiences such as senior leadership, business partners, internal WRS&I team members, and line of business team members. Strong organizational and plan management skills are required. A key success factor for this role is the ability to distill and present complex concepts in a simplified, intuitive manner through deliverables such as presentations, newsletters, process documentation, email, etc.
Additional responsibilities include:
Support programs at a complex level; includes awareness of / input into broader WRS&I and Wholesale communication deliverables
Become a subject matter expert in multiple WRS&I teams and initiatives that leadership can leverage for effective written communications
Become a trusted advisor that leadership can depend on to develop and execute on a comprehensive communication strategy, plan, and deliverables with minimal oversight
Develop and deliver high quality, logically written, and easily readable communications for targeted audiences, including senior leadership, business partners, internal WRS&I team members and line of business team members
Ensure appropriate adherence to regulatory risk and minimization of organizational risk
Engage with all levels of the organization to achieve shared goals

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements. Required Qualifications
8+ years of communications experience
Other Desired Qualifications
5-7 years communication experience
Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or related field
Previous experience leading large scale communication projects
Previous experience engaging with senior leaders and line of business staff
Ability to integrate several viewpoints and synthesize key messages; demonstrated strength delivering effective communications from concept to execution
Ability to successfully navigate / operate in a high pressure environment
Excellent meeting facilitation, oral and written communication skills
Expert level experience with Microsoft tools, particularly Word, Power Point, and Excel
5-7 years communication experience, preferably with Wholesale experience
Strong understanding of one or more lines of business within Wells Fargo, preferably Wholesale Banking
