Our client is actively seeking a full-time financial analyst to join its capital markets team in a hybrid role that is equal parts financial modeling and corporate communications. Given the firm’s unique capital structure, the analyst will receive exposure to both the public REIT industry and the private opportunity fund business. Key responsibilities include investment reporting, marketing material preparation, selected asset management activities, and client relationship support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: •Assist with quarterly investment reporting and asset valuations for the fund portfolios •Assist with the preparation and modification of corporate marketing materials •Model cash flows for existing core assets and assist with the annual budgeting process •Assist with the financing and disposition processes •Coordinate investor events, including conferences, annual meetings, and property tours •Assist with client relations support and periodic capital raising •Participate in special projects and prepare presentations for senior management
QUALIFICATIONS: •Education: Bachelor’s Degree, excellent academic performance •Experience: 2-3 years of total work experience with some exposure to financial modeling and analysis. Commercial real estate experience is preferred. •Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Argus experience is a plus •Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and listening) •Self-motivated, hardworking, and attentive to detail •Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines •Must possess a good attitude, commitment to teamwork, and a sincere interest in the real estate industry
