As a key member of the Chicago Booth Marketing team, the Associate Creative Director of Brand assists in developing and overseeing a wide variety of leading edge Chicago Booth brand-related campaigns and collateral. The Associate Creative Director of Brand contributes to the growth of the creative team and the overall marketing efforts of Chicago Booth by producing cutting edge work, evolving the Booth brand, supporting creative service operations, interfacing with the Booth community, and mentoring junior designers. The Associate Creative Director of Brand leverages stellar creative expertise to help build the Chicago Booth brand through integrated campaigns and supporting collateral in a variety of design executions. As a senior member of the creative team we seek an innovative designer that can brainstorm powerful and innovate new design ideas, motivate and mentor junior members of the team, create seamless user experiences, problem solve design challenges with minimal direction, and meet the marketing objectives defined by Chicago Booth. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Under the direction of the Creative Director, contributes to the overall marketing and branding efforts of Chicago Booth through the thoughtful execution of defined Chicago Booth marketing initiatives. These deliverables will include the comprehensive design of a range of deliverables including websites, social media concepts, emails, digital publications, print and direct mail pieces, presentations and more. Designs will meet the objectives defined in project briefs. -Manages and oversees Chicago Booth brand designers on the Marketing creative team.The Associate Creative Director of Brand will clearly articulate the rationale for their work and present work in the context of the project briefs. -Maintain designated daily creative operations with oversight from Creative Director. Escalate issues with existing operational programs and assist with operational training for junior staff.-Proactively audit, revise and design existing digital and print templates. Collaborate with marketing team to optimize and evolve existing digital and print templates.-Frequently meet with Creative Director to discuss the evolution of brand voice globally; auditing and identifying off brand materials university-wide, work to proactively engage the Booth community on ways to evolve the brand in unique and engaging ways.-Work closely with Creative Director and Digital Creative Director to ensure a world-class digital experience.-Assist other creative team members and offer solicited or unsolicited design/creative advice on their projects. Develop a deep knowledge of the Booth brand, be able to communicate and apply that knowledge on a daily basis to motivate others and foster the growth of the brand.-Assist the Creative Director by attending meetings and helping to manage creative operations including, team management, file management, naming conventions, print production, purchasing, digital asset management, template libraries, presentation standards, photo and brand approvals, and partner consultation.-Work closely with motion graphics vendors to manage all elements of video production from storyboard to delivery and evolve the Chicago Booth Brand through motion graphics.
