Under the general direction of the Director of Public Affairs and Communications for Yale Cancer Center (YCC), plan and implement the internal communications and publications program for the department of internal medicine and its 12 academic sections. Develop and write a variety of communications; increase media relations efforts by collaborating with the Office of Public Affairs, and improve print and social media information about the department and its place in the field regionally and nationally. Carefully coordinate communications efforts within the Medical Center to present information. Must be a proficient writer with editing skills; detail oriented; able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
