Boston University's College of Communication (COM) invites applications for the Sandra Frazier Professorship of Public Relations.
We seek a professional with a high public profile, including in public service and/or in the corporate or agency world. We seek a forward-looking, dynamic thinker with an international reputation for professional achievement in the field of Public Relations. Candidates for this endowed professorship should present qualifications suitable for appointment as a non-tenured Professor of Practice at Boston University, based on professional achievements and intellectual and industry leadership.
Candidates for this position should be prepared to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in public relations, such as Corporate Public Relations, Media Relations, Financial & Strategic Management for Communication Professionals, Crisis Communication, Ethics, and advanced-level classes in one's specialty area.

Salary: Based on experience
Consideration for this endowed chairship will be given to accomplished practitioners with international reputations in the industry. For professionals, a BA/BS in Communication or a related area is required, with significant professional experience in the public relations industry in a senior leadership position. For professionals, an MA/MS is preferred. For candidates who are also scholars, a PhD in communication or a related field is preferred.
