And start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Working across External Affairs on the writing and creation of content, including memos, newsletters, advocacy materials, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, talking points, and website copyAssisting with External Affairs initiatives, such as visibility events, roll outs of thought leadership materials, and internal reporting. This would include developing and organizing action plans and meaningful dashboards, working across External Affairs to ensure timely follow up of action items, and tracking select work streamsAttending key events, such as opinion-elite forums, briefings, and legislative hearings to provide timely summaries of the events to External Affairs members. For events which UHG is hosting, this would include assisting in the planning and execution of the eventTimely and effective communication to External Affairs leaders and others across External Affairs on identified projects
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree8 to 10 years of experience working in government, politics, public affairs, communications, or related functionsA creative, highly motivated, detail-oriented team playerSomeone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is able to multi-task, and has strong time management skillsExcellent written and oral communications skillsExceptional project management skills. Strong skills and demonstrated experience in creating compelling and effective PowerPoint's, written materials and other collateral.
