The Logan School for Creative Learning is an independent K-8 school for approximately 240 gifted students who are exceptionally inquisitive and hungry for knowledge. The Logan School fosters this love of learning by providing an experience-based education that allows students to develop individually to their fullest potential. With a focus on higher levels of critical thinking, students develop a mature sense of whom they are and how they will connect with the world around them -- skills that will serve them well into the future.
The Assistant to the Enrollment Management Director supports the Director in the areas of Admission, Financial Aid and Permanent Records as well as supports contact with recent alumni and provides backup to the Front Desk Coordinator. This is an exciting and dynamic work environment that involves interacting with students, staff and parents to further the goals of this department and the school overall.
This is a salaried, overtime-eligible position.
The Enrollment Management Director is the direct supervisor for this position.
Hours may vary and will depend on the needs of the Enrollment Management Department but are typically 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. There will be occasional evening and weekend commitments required. Attendance is required at All-Staff Meetings until 5:00 p.m. at least once per month.
Provide general and administrative support including inputting, updating, maintaining and pulling reports from the school’s database
Support this Director to organize (and maintain organization of) processes and departmental space
Assist the Director in all phases of the application and admission process from inquiry through enrollment and re-enrollment
Track inventory of admission materials, assist in the order of inventory and keep packets ready
Perform research and draft correspondence, emails and articles to support the Enrollment Management Director
Support internal communication to facilitate appropriate information flow
Manage all permanent records, prospective, current and past student files and the associated database
Systematically track financial aid applications and awards
Track high school transcript and teacher recommendation requests and fulfillment
Provide event support including planning, set up, clean up, data entry, and administrative coordination for various on and off campus school events
Attend and participate in community events, as assigned, and activities of the school
Other duties as assigned by the Enrollment Management Director
Qualifications - Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Deep sense of customer service
Ability to work collaboratively with various teams
Ability to accommodate an often-changing set of priorities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Computer literate and extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability and willingness to learn new technology programs
Ability and willingness to work some nights and weekend events
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience
Ability to pass a background check, DMV check and drug screening test as required
Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
Provide own transportation
