The Office of Public Affairs & Communications (OPAC) is seeking a news-savvy web producer to manage the day-to-day production of Yale's main news website at news.yale.edu. Reporting to the Director of YaleNews and working closely with a team of editors, writers, and digital content producers, the Web Producer will be responsible for posting stories, gathering and prepping imagery, developing slideshows and special news packages and light editing and proofing of content. The ideal candidate has an editorial or news background with strong hands-on web production skills; stays on top of digital trends, best practices and standards; and thrives in a collaborative environment.
