Translate and distill our work into compelling, consistent messages and visuals for a range of external and internal audiences (Capitol Hill staffers, clients, coalitions, trade association members etc.).
Create and support development of a broad range of communication materials including Powerpoint presentations, one-pagers, infographics, white papers, and RFPs.
Develop and manage website content—familiarity with content management systems such as Wordpress preferred.
Manage e-newsletters—familiarity with e-marketing tools such as Mailchimp preferred.
Steward social media strategy and content e.g. twitter; experience demonstrating thought leadership and building audience engagement preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
1-3 years professional experience.
Strong, demonstrated writing skills, familiarity with AP writing style a plus.
Creative, action-oriented thinker and problem-solver with a strong attention to detail.
Experience in government/public affairs and media relations preferred.
Background in energy and environmental policy preferred, but not required.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs—especially with Powerpoint.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop preferred.
An all hands-on-deck attitude and enthusiasm for wearing many hats in the firm.
