This is an excellent opportunity to join Group Treasury and be responsible for modelling, analysing and reporting balance sheet and liquidity risks managed by Macquarie's Group Treasury Division.
This high profile role with a broad range of responsibilities and opportunities to interact with Macquarie business units. You will participate in a variety of tasks including risk modelling, model validation, development and maintenance of risk reports, periodic reviews of data quality and model documentation.
Liaise with Macquarie business units to analyse and model product and portfolio behaviour
Provide high-quality risk reporting and analysis
Build, test and verify asset-liability risk models across a range of products and jurisdictions
Ad-hoc analysis of topical balance sheet risk issues and transactions.
You will ideally have experience in the Treasury or Risk Management division of a major financial institution or corporation. Your analytical talent will be supported by the ability to communicate practical and relevant insight to support the key market risk decisions made by Group Treasury.
We ask that you have;
3-5 years Treasury or Risk Management experience in a Financial Institution or major corporation
Familiarity with balance sheet risk modelling concepts and techniques
Applied knowledge of financial instruments and their valuation
Experience producing analysis and reports for senior management audience
Higher degree and / or professional qualifications in a financial or quantitative discipline will be well regarded
Knowledge of the QRM Framework will be beneficial, although applicants with knowledge of other ALM and interest rate risk management frameworks are encouraged to apply.
